This machine utilized spin welding technology to join an abrasive disc pad to a plastic bit. The abrasive discs were manually loaded and unloaded by an operator. Pinned, removable fixture sets allowed the machine to run various versions of the abrasive discs. Common plastic parts were bowl fed into the assembly station. Dual spin welders were used for increased cycle rate. Sensors verified proper assembly.
